Andy Madley appointed as referee for Manchester City vs Everton
Manchester City's gruelling schedule post the winter World Cup kicked off with two victories against Liverpool and Leeds. City's focus remains in the Premier League as they return to the Etihad Stadium to host Everton on New Year's Eve after a victorious trip to Elland Road. Andy Madley will take charge of City's sixteenth game of their Premier League campaign, which kicks off at 15:00 GMT.
Andy Madley
The Huddersfield-born referee will take charge of his second game for City this season, his previous refereeing duties coming in the 4-0 thrashing of Southampton at the Etihad in October of this year. This will be Madley's sixth game in charge of a City, with the Blues coming out on top in all of the previous five occasions with an aggregate scoreline of 17-1.

City have not only enjoyed themselves under Madley's officiating in terms of the results, but they also have a stellar disciplinary record under him. Madley has shown a meagre four yellow cards to City players in the previous five games with zero red cards. City will hope to carry on their good form under the Yorkshireman's charge as they look to hunt down Arsenal in their quest for a third straight Premier League title.
