Anthony Taylor appointed as referee for Liverpool vs Manchester City
After a sleepy draw in Denmark mid-week, Manchester City turn their attention from European engagements to the Premier League. City will come across perhaps their toughest challenge in the league against Liverpool this weekend, away at Anfield. Anthony Taylor will take over the refereeing duties for the titanic clash on Sunday.

Hailing from Wythenshawe, Taylor will take over officiating duties for a second time this season for a City game, with the Blues triumphing by three goals to nil away against Wolves in his previous game in charge.
City have not particularly enjoyed themselves in matches under Taylor's charge, though. Of the last ten City matches he has officiated, Pep Guardiola's side have only won three – drawing three and losing four. Taylor has brandished ten yellow cards to City players and no red cards in these games.
