Anthony Taylor appointed as referee for Manchester City vs Tottenham

Anthony Taylor will be the man in charge this coming Saturday when the Premier League champions welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Etihad. The clash between Pep Guardiola's high flying Blues and a struggling Spurs side will take place on Saturday 19th February, kicking off at 17:30 (GMT).

The Manchester-born official took charge of the reverse fixture earlier this season – a game which saw City lose 1-0 after a Heung-min Son goal in the second half.

The Englishman has been in charge of 16 Premier League fixtures this season, distributing a total of 65 yellow cards and 4 reds.

City fans will be hoping their blistering form continues, picking up another three points this weekend – despite not having the best record nor relationship with the 43-year-old official.
