Craig Pawson appointed referee for Burnley vs Manchester City
Craig Pawson has been given refereeing duties as Manchester City make the short journey to Burnley this Saturday (3pm K.O.) in the Premier League.
Craig Pawson
Pawson last took charge of City against Chelsea back in January in a crunch match that put a clear end to the Londoner's hopes of a title charge. The game, won by a second half classic Kevin De Bruyne finish, yet again set a light under City's own title charge but the Blues could find themselves second in the live league table come kick off on Saturday, with Liverpool playing in the early kick off.
Pawson has raised 36 yellow cards to City players in his career, but never a red and has taken charge of City 20 times (13 W, 4 D, 3 L).
