David Coote has been given refereeing duties for Manchester City's first trip to the Brentford Community Stadium on Wednesday 29th December on Matchday 20 of the Premier League season.

DAVID COOTE

For what will be only his third time as the man in the middle for a Manchester City game, this match is Coote's first time refereeing the Champions this season. A relatively new referee to the Premier League, Coote's only other fixtures involving a 'Big 6' club have been Watford v Chelsea and Wolves v Chelsea this season. His previous times refereeing City were routine wins in the Premier League last season; away in May to Crystal Palace (2-0) and Sheffield United at home earlier in January (1-0).
