"I can not visualise a better place than Manchester City" - Pep Guardiola pre Leeds Press Conference
A brief talk with Pep Guardiola ahead of the Saturday afternoon Premier League game away at Leeds as this boss talks Mohamed Salah winning FWA FOTY, a fitness check and Jurgen Klopp.
Mohamed Salah has won the FWA Footballer of the Year:
"Congratulations to Salah. Absolutely not [disappointed De Bruyne didn't win it]. I was not in contention, I play good. He [De Bruyne] won it already so... Congratulations."
"Jurgen [Klopp] said they [Liverpool] have the best keeper, the second-best second keeper in the world, the best central defender, the best holding midfielder, the best striker, so it's normal they win all the awards..."
Jurgen Klopp has extended with Liverpool until 2026:
" Congratulations to Jurgen and Liverpool, it’s really good for the Premier League. I wish them all the best. Everyone has their situation and if we decide to stay longer, it’s because I decide not because my colleague Jurgen extended."
But could there be another extension in the works?
"I am so concerned with the end of the season, I have the feeling one year is a long time. It’s six seasons together, so many years. I am enjoying this part of the season and I have time. I have an incredible relationship with my club, chairman, CEO."
"I am incredibly happy. I could not be in a better place than where I am now, here. I cannot visualise a better place. But it isn't just about me. We will take the decision we will take."

Injury update:
"Yes, [Kyle Walker is out for Leeds] I don't know right now [for the rest of the season]. I'm not worried at all, he's injured unfortunately for all of us and him especially. I must focus on the rest of the players."
"For tomorrow he's [John Stones] out and we'll see for Wednesday [against Real Madrid]."
Leeds:
"It's tougher because Leeds is tough. The crowd, they are fighting for points. We need points. We know it. The people feel it. The players trained today with incredible focus - I think everybody at the club knows what we're playing for and what they have to do. We make an incredible last three games, lots of goals we score and that's what we must continue to do. In football sometimes you get rewards sometimes you must accept defeats."
Jack Grealish
"He can, he can [have an impact for the rest of the season]. Nothing chances, it's just in that position Riyad [Mahrez] for a long time is with us, always in important games gives you something unique, special. Phil Foden is so determined, his will and many things, his impact during the games is huge. It's just for that reason [Jack Grealish hasn't been playing]. Raheem [Sterling], everyone knows how important he is for all of us, especially for me. In that moment I decide for other players not because they are bad. I always had the feeling with Phil or Riyad that the goal is there, they can create chances, when they are in front of goal they have the sense they can score a goal. It's one of the reasons why. Sometimes we need another type of game, more quicker or more controlled, sometimes we need maybe Jack, maybe Raz [Sterling]. Most of the times it's a tactical decision, not because I'm unsatisfied or they are not playing good..."
