Jonathan Moss appointed referee for Manchester City vs Southampton

Jonathan Moss will take charge of Manchester City’s next Premier League game. The blues welcome Southampton to the Etihad on Saturday, September 18th at 15:00.

Moss has taken charge of 33 previous fixtures involving Manchester City. City have won a healthy 27 of them, with 4 draws and 2 losses. Moss has handed out 35 yellow cards in that time, with a single red to his name. This was given to Nolito back in September of 2016 in a 4-0 City win over Bournemouth.

Moss last took charge of a Manchester City game in March of this year, also against Southampton. Manchester City triumphed 5-2 on the day. A repeat of that would not go amiss.
