Kevin Friend appointed referee for Manchester City's trip to Brighton
Kevin Friend will me the man in the middle when City make the long trip down south for the Saturday evening Premier League match week 9 clash away against the in form Brighton.

Kevin Friend was referee for City's first home Premier League game this season - a comfortable 5-0 win against Norwich City in August. The Leicestershire born official has taken charge of a total of 30 Manchester City games dating back to 2010, with City winning 20 of them, drawing 6 and losing just the 4. This will be the first meeting between Brighton and City that Friend has officiated over.
