Kevin Friend has been appointed referee for City's trip to Watford
The title race is heating up, games are coming thick and fast - with that in mind you need friends; so, Kevin Friend will referee the match at Vicarage Road against a Watford side finding their feet.
KEVIN FRIEND
So far this calendar year the Leicestershire native has been a friend of Manchester City, having refereed two games, with City winning both, scoring four in each, but also awarding a penalty to the opposition in each (City's 4-3 victory at St James Park towards the end of last season and the 4-1 victory at Brighton in October of this season). In total Friend has took charge of 31 games in which City have participated, with the blues winning a healthy 21 of them, drawing 6, and losing the other 4 - in those 31 games Kevin Friend has never sent off a City player, so that's that jinxed!
