Martin Atkinson appointed as referee for Crystal Palace vs Manchester City
Martin Atkinson has been given refereeing duties for when City travel down to south London to face Crystal Palace in yet another crucial Premier League encounter.
MARTIN ATKINSON
The 50-year-old has refereed City three times this season in the league, with the blues yet to concede and scoring an impressive 11 goals. Guardiola's side last dropped points under Atkinson's presence was when they played away at Wolves in December 2019 - losing 3-2 and having a man sent off too.
Full of experience, Atkinson first refereed the Blues in 2004 - coincidently away at Palace, a game in which City won 2-1 - a result they'd more than pleased with on Monday. His overall Premier League record with City stands at 27 wins, 9 draws and 13 losses.
