Reports: Manchester City to discover Erling Haaland decision within fortnight

Manchester City are yet to replace Sergio Aguero since he left last summer and with the club's attempts to land Harry Kane failing they've turned their attention to 21-year-old starlet Erling Haaland – with Mike Keegan of the Daily Mail reporting the Norweigan will decide on his next club in the next two weeks.

According to Keegan, City remain confident of landing the Borussia Dortmund frontman this summer – although, a deal is not yet done. They will reportedly face stiff competition from Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona for the services of Haaland.

Last month, when a raft of reports from across the continent started intensely linking the Nord to Pep Guardiola's side, we covered a report from Keegan claiming that the Blues were ready to make Haaland the highest-earning player in the Premier League.

Scorer of 80 club goals in 84 appearances since he joined Dortmund in the winter of 2020, the Daily Mail journalist revealed that City had already spoken to Haaland regarding personal terms and the Premier League champions were willing to pay in excess of £500,000 per week.

The Dortmund talisman does have a release clause of £63m that becomes active this summer, but super-agent Mino Raiola and his father and former City midfielder Alfie are set to squeeze a huge bonus from the deal. In total bringing it closer to a reported £100m.
