Hooper will take charge of his sixth City game of the season in all competitions on Sunday. Pep Guardiola’s men have won four of those games, drawing to Aston Villa at Villa Park in September. The wins include the Blues’ 4-1 victory over Liverpool and the stunning second-half comeback against Spurs at the Etihad.

The 40-year-old has refereed 24 Premier League games this season, giving out 79 yellow cards at a rate of 3.3 per game. He is yet to show a red card during this campaign.
